I earned my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Education: School Counseling from Ottawa University.  I have had amazing experiences working in all school settings and throughout all grades for the past 12 years.  Creating and implementing a comprehensive school counseling program in elementary, junior high, and high school has given me a well rounded perspective of the entire educational process.  In addition, I have taught character education classes to all ages and love being a part of empowering the next generation.  I am beyond excited to be a part of the Paul Revere Academy partnered with East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) to bring a revolutionary and phenomenal experience to all our scholars.

I am an Arizona Native and love the desert mountain sunsets and sunrises. I enjoy traveling to learn the culture, cuisine and chase a beautiful sunset. I love history and am thrilled to have the opportunity to share that love with the scholars here at Paul Revere. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Noodle. I also enjoy travelling, reading, and playing games.

I grew up in St. Louis, MO and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I am excited to bring an extensive teaching experience and a passion for teaching mathematics to the scholars at Paul Revere Tech. My husband and I have four wonderful children. When not in the classroom, you can find us outdoors: backpacking, hiking, or playing tennis.

I was born in Mesa, Arizona, but I graduated from high school in Milford, Connecticut.  I was on the wrestling team at Brigham Young University and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Math Education and German Teaching.  After teaching high school math for a while, I went back to school and got a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology as well as a master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in Missouri.  After practicing chiropractic for several years, I returned to my primary passion of teaching. My wife and I have been blessed with 9 incredible children, and we are expecting our first grandchild this fall.  I enjoy spending time with my family, and we are active in scouting.  We spend our summers at Camp Geronimo enjoying nature.

I am excited to be part of the Paul Revere Academy team!  After earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2010,  I have had the opportunity to serve in many positions as an educator:  general education teacher, reading specialist, and school administrator.  Academic intervention has always my passion.  In 2020, I returned to the classroom to become a certified special education teacher in grades K-12.  I look forward to helping high school students see their potential and to help them to successfully meet their goals.  My motto:  We can do hard things!

I love working as a Paraeducator with the Special Education Team here at Paul Revere Academy. I’m so very grateful for this opportunity. I enjoy getting to know these awesome heroes on a more personal level. Our scholars are smarter, stronger, and braver than they give themselves credit for. My overall goal is to help every scholar believe in themselves. I make it a priority to meet each individual person where they are at, and I provide support for them in their efforts to achieve the little and BIG goals they have for themselves within their lives and more specifically their education.
